1st Blog Post

I have been to Japan for countless times throughout the course of my life, every time I am there, I am impressed by how well-mannered Japanese are. It is their culture which emphasises a lot on the close relationship between people, I love the warm atmosphere that this culture has created. My mom has been learning Japanese for 3 years now, but she has just attained the level of N4, and I kind of despise her for being such a slow-learner. One of the main reasons I enrolled in this Japanese course is that I would want to be able to communicate with my mom in Japanese so she can get more practice whenever I am around. Most importantly, I want to learn the language of the culture that I have admired for so long.

みんなさん,よろしくお願いします!

  2. Wow it's a surprise that your mother is good at Japanese. Which city did you mostly travel and enjoy the most? I've also been to Japan in countless times, but I actually went to Tokyo three times this summer, because I really enjoyed there.

  6. It is impressive for your mother to learn a new language and get an N4 certificate. I will probably also encourage my mother to learn a new language and inspire her with your mother's story!

  7. So cool that your mother is learning a new language! In my family, it was my dad who learned several foreign languages, but he never studied any Asian languages, so I'm the first in my family for that.
