Japanese "Person" - Detective Conan

こんにちわ!
私わYingです、中国人です、一年生です、せんこわ政治学と経済学です
このクラスわ参加とでも嬉しいです!
どぞよろしくうお願いします!

I believe most people in this class study Japanese because they are interested in Japanese culture, such as manga and anime; and I am one of them.

My all time favorite series is Detective Conan by Aoyama Gosho. It has been on going for more than 20 years now, with more than 1000 episodes of manga and over 900 episodes of anime.

I started to watch the TV anime series 5 years ago, and I am now still up to the 436th episode, still a long way to go till I catch up with the current latest episode. Even though the storylines are getting repetitive due it being so long-lasting, the Detective Conan series will always remain as my number one.

Last Christmas when I visited Osaka, there was a Dectective Conan exhibition on-going. Even though I could not read Japanese at that time, I still enjoyed the exhibition from the bottom of my heart!

Kaito Kid (a character in Detective Conan)

During my free time, I love to draw sketches of anime characters. I was never good at drawing, by drawing manga art, I hope to improve my drawing skills.

I left home to study at Notre Dame this year, to make me feel at home whenever I am in my dorm room, I brought a Conan puzzle that I have made all the way from Hong Kong so I can hang it in my dorm room.

Almost all cases in Decetive Conan are murder cases, some people may say that watching these kinds of anime may cause people to think that performing crimes is acceptable; but on this notion, I kind of disagree. In another way, Detective Conan is to remind us that every one is equal, we should not be blinded by our greed and resentments, to an extent that we get envious of others and try to obtain what we should not own. The most important thing is that we understand that materials we own are not of highest importance, instead,  we must live a life fair and square, and do not do things that go against our moral values.

真実わいつもひとつ!

  2. your sketches and puzzles are very pretty. I can relate to the last part where you said that Detective Conan taught its viewers to not be blinded by hatred and greed, which are origin causes of sins in this phenominal series.
